HISTORY: Cut off for marrying beneath his wealth status, Damien's father, Alexandre Grayson De Luca Sr and Damien’s mother, Catarina went off to find their own fortune, quickly finding it in business of sorts. To the average wizard/witch, De Luca Luxuries is a high end retail store for the rich and powerful. But to the people in the know, De Luca Luxuries is also a dark object exporter. They ship things that aren't exactly of the legal sorts, to members of the Dark Lords crew, and anyone who dabbles in the dark arts. They gave birth to Damien's oldest brother Alexandre not long after starting the business. By this time the family was making a lot of money and his father was spending less and less time with his family and more time at work. Despite this his father still found the time to impregnate his wife two more times first with his second brother Gabriel, and then with him 3 years later.
For a years or so the De Luca’s were living the dream life, and then tragedy stuck. Damien was 5 when his mother died. She came down with pneumonia, and passed away shortly after. He doesn’t really remember much of his mother, with him being so young when she died. He does however remember her smell, and has hazy visions of her, but nothing super concrete. His father deeply in love with his mother drew away from the family, and his older brother Alexandre took on the job raising them. The nannies and the maids helped but Alex felt it was his personal responsibility. Damien loves his siblings more than life itself and would do anything for them.
He is the least serious person in the world, he loves to have fun, and play pranks, and just get into trouble. He's not afraid to make a fool of himself in the name of fun, and that i what people love about him. He loves a good laugh and isn’t afraid to laugh at someone for being idiot. He is big on honesty. He tells it like it is, and what’s on his mind, and rarely keeps secrets from people. It’s not that he doesn't know how to lie he just doesn’t see the point in it. He loves a good confrontation, and never shies away from an argument. He has really high self-esteem and a lot of confidence also he has an extremely large amount of trust in his fellow human beings. He also knows who he is, and isn’t willing to change for anyone. He isn’t always the most serious guy in the world, but he can sometimes get too wrapped up in his own life that he doesn’t deal with the rest of the world
Damien is an athlete. He’s played sports ever since he was younger, starting with the cursed soccer, moving on to swimming, before finding his niche in quidditch. He loves everything about the game, from the freshly cut grass, to the way the wind feels as he flies through it. Everything. He loves quidditch... actually love doesn’t even begin to describe how he feels about the sport. He is about two steps shy of worshipping it.
It was some time last year when he realized that he could never be happy working for his father so he told his father he wouldn't got to school and work for him and that he would do what he loved, Quidditch. It was probably the scariest thing he had ever done in his life. In the end his father kicked him out, disowning, but he allowed him to go back to school, partly with the hope that Damien will change his mind. But outside of that he hasn’t spoken to him in 6 months. He doesn’t regret it just yet, partly because he's not completely on his own just yet but he knows its coming, and he's scared out of his mind. He knows that Alex’s not going to let him fall completely but he's still scared.

“A paper cut huh? Ouch.” He was no stranger to pain, like the time he had broken his arm in three different places after his brother Cameron accidently pushed him from a tree in the woods by his house. There was the time he and his younger brother Mason were wrestling and he ended up having to get sixteen stitches on his arm. Then there was also the time he and his twin sister Cayden were racing bikes, and he ran into that wall, breaking his arm in another four different places. Now that he thought about it…he and his arm had never had the best relationship, it had a tendency of getting hurt or broken. He had had countless bruise, broken a number of bones, and got a multitude of stitches in his lifetime yet, he still shuddered at the thought of a paper cut. A smile graced his lips as she asked if she knew him, “I’m sure you’ve probably seen me walking around here at some point,” He said in response.
Devon! That was her name. Aiden knew it was something along those lines and he had definitely seen her around before. Oh the stories he had about this girl. From what he had heard she was quite the wild child. Full of fun, and good times. Yet he had never spoken to her. It wasn’t that he hadn’t wanted to, and he couldn’t say that he hadn’t had plenty of chances, because he had. He just had never built up the courage to drag himself over to talk to him. “I’m Aiden.” A chuckle escaped his lips, when she said that the charcoal on her fingers made it impossible to shake his hand, “it’s cool,” he said. They both were quiet for a few seconds, him awkwardly standing in front of her, and her humming a song. Beatles, if he wasn’t mistaken.
Her voice broke through his thoughts, “uh… yeah, I’m from the United States, South Carolina to be exact.” A lot of people hated the south, but loved it, everything about it. The slow pace, the warm atmosphere, the open space, everything, it was just home. He missed his home sometimes, most of the time sometimes, but he wouldn’t leave if he had chance. He loved it here too much plus his home was tainted with a memory he wouldn’t care to relive again. He shook his head to quickly clear his thoughts. He let his eyes roam around the quad, and the activity going around it, before letting his attention go back to the girl in front of him. She was pretty, he thought another reason she had piqued his interest in the first place. She didn’t have the conventional beauty, it was slightly awkward, and a little childlike, but it worked for her. She wasn’t dressed, like a lot of the girls in the school. He wasn’t complaining, because well… it showed originality, which sadly was lacking in school, even if it was an art school.
It wasn’t until she had asked him if he had somewhere he needed to be that Aiden realized he had been staring, almost rudely at her. Embarrassed he dropped his eyes to the ground below him, he shook his head at her question, “Nah, I don’t have anywhere I have to at this exact moment, and my next class isn’t for another 2 and a half hours.” He watched as Devon stood up, and the felt a small bubble of happiness grow in side of him as smiled at him and deflated slightly when it went away. His eyes followed the page as it ripped from the notebook she was holding, before returning his attention back to Devon. She was knocking on her forehead three times, with a slightly frustrated look on her face. He raised an eyebrow at her antics, a little curious, and a tiny bit amused. The amused part of him quickly evaporated when she began to speak. There was an annoyed tone to her voice, and he wasn’t sure if he was the cause of it or not. Aiden was torn in a moment of indecision. Should he follow her to a different part of the quad or should he stay? She did invite him to go with her after all. But she could have done it just to be nice. He hoped it wasn’t that. He really did want to keep talking to her, that and he wasn’t sure he could build up the courage to talk to her again. He weighed his options in his head a few moments longer before nodding his head yes. A particularly loud, obnoxious group of people walked by confirming that he had in fact made the right decision. Giving her a mock bow, and a charming smile, he gave her his answer, “Lead the way.”
